NOIVA in Jordan

Practical Assistance

"Love is not patronizing, and charity isn’t about pity, but about love. Charity and love are the same thing - with charity you give love, so don't just give money but reach out your hand instead.”

Vacations with a Difference

Outreach

Your support changes lives and brings hope to difficult situations. For two weeks, you'll join NOIVA in Jordan and be immersed in a life-enriching time.

NOIVA in Jordan

Outreach

The situation on the ground is difficult. What is needed is charity in action, practical help, relief from suffering and genuine compassion for people, some of whom have lost everything. Join us in becoming ambassadors of a humanitarian and generous Switzerland! Give your heart away and experience how much you yourself gain by doing so. We are looking for women, men and families to integrate themselves into a group of volunteers and offer their skills.

Outreach Areas

Important information

In recent years, we have been able to offer employment opportunities in various areas (craftsmen, home visits, medical missions, computer courses, maternity programs, children's programs...). Since the fall of Assad, not only the situation in Syria but also the situation of Syrian refugees in Jordan has changed dramatically. On the one hand, families are faced with the difficult decision of whether they want to return to Syria - without knowing where and how they should (survive) there. On the other hand, the living conditions for Syrians in Jordan are becoming increasingly difficult, which is prompting many families to return.

We are currently unable to assess how the situation of Syrian refugees in Jordan will develop over the coming months. For this reason, we are also unable to provide any reliable information on specific deployment opportunities. We want to continue with the volunteer assignments and are making every effort to realize them.

Stay connected with us on social media or via the newsletter. We will provide regular updates on our activities and volunteering opportunities. Or send us an e-mail to info@noiva.ch if you would like us to inform you directly as soon as the opportunities for the next assignment have been confirmed.
